Full description

Situated in the Hautes Pyrenees the house contains 4/5 bedrooms, 3 en suite bathrooms, a dressing room, double height sitting room with a mezzanine, large kitchen, utility room, dining room, office/bedroom, downstairs shower room, large hallway/landing.

The house is mentioned in the Census of 1787 and parts are much older. It has been fully restored to a very high standard and now offers all the benefits of modern living whilst retaining many aspects of the original structure.
Upstairs the accommodation comprises four double bedrooms, three of them with en-suite bathrooms; the master bedroom has a small dressing room attached to it.

Downstairs there is a very large kitchen, offering space for family dining, off which there is a utility room. A large dining room gives space for more formal events. A double height sitting room with a mezzanine at first floor level provides an airy relaxing space. There is an office/library that can be used as a fifth bedroom. The village has an active community with a number of events held throughout the year. It is located approximately 40 minutes drive from Tarbes/Lourdes airport and an hour from Toulouse airport. The Spanish border is an hour’s drive away and in the Pyrenees there are a number of ski stations easily accessible and in summer there are many festivals, good walks and attractions available within easy reach.

Recently fibre optic cable was brought to the village so the house now benefits from a very fast internet connexion making contact across the world very simple.
